microsoft ist nicht der publisher, also kann man davon ausgehen, dass nach 6-12 monate ports für andere plattformen folgen.

REPLACED is a 2.5D sci-fi retro-futuristic action platformer where you play as R.E.A.C.H.—an artificial intelligence trapped in a human body against its own will. The game blends cinematic platforming, stunning pixel art, free-flow action combat and a deep engaging dystopian story set in an alternative 1980s.

In and around Phoenix-City, outlaws are rife in society. Everything is ruled by corruption and greed and the ones in power see humans and their organs as nothing more than currency. Explore and uncover the mysteries from the perspective of R.E.A.C.H, who is beginning to understand what it’s like to be human in a broken world.

Inspired by cyberpunk cinema like Blade Runner 2049 & Upgrade, developers Sad Cat Studios want to build an in-depth, complex world, with pixel art at the heart of REPLACED‘s gritty, dystopian past.

If like me, you’re a sucker for a gritty Cyberpunk setting, then you’re going to love Replaced. Set in alternate version of 1980s America, this action platformer takes us on a journey across Pheonix-City, a dystopian wasteland where greed and corruption rules, and outlaws are rife in the aftermath of an apocalyptic event. This week, I managed to get my hands on a demo of Replaced, and it’s looking incredibly promising.

The preview we played was split into three distinct sections, demonstrating Replaced’s strengths in different areas. In the prologue, I’m introduced to our protagonist, R.E.A.C.H, an artificial intelligence that becomes trapped in a human body during an explosion. Before you’ve had time to question what has happened, R.E.A.C.H and his fleshy prison are faced with the greatest ultimatum – run or die.

Ich seh ja Verschiebungen eigentlich immer positiv... zumindest wenn man tatsächlich weiter am Spiel arbeitet und eine sinnvolle Version veröffentlichen möchte.
Bei sowas darf man sich alle Zeit der Welt nehmen die man sich finanziell leisten kann... ich kann warten wenn dafür ein besseres, fertigeres Produkt rauskommt.

Und hier bin ich sehr gespannt... optisch ist das Spiel ja bisher echt traumhaft.
