ja, wobei es da natürlich noch nicht einmal um das setting geht. der krieg hat entwickler in drei verschiedenen ländern komplett gefickt. letzte woche hat noch der russische golden light entwickler sein spiel aus dem early access veröffentlicht, da sie absolut nicht wissen, wann die regierung ihnen den zugang zum westlichen internet sperrt.



die ganze industrie wird nun um mehre jahre zurückgeworfen.

Focus Entertainment is thrilled to announce their partnership with video game development studio Mundfish to publish the upcoming Atomic Heart. Initially planned for 2022, the hectic and explosive Action-RPG is set to release this winter. Polishing and delivering a game of the highest quality is the priority of this talented team, with a specific launch date to be announced shortly. Focus Entertainment will publish the title on consoles and PC (outside of CIS and Asian territories).

The game has already garnered a lot of interest, with an active community of fans and hotly anticipated by the press. The explosive Combat Trailer was also launched to highly positive reactions following its reveal at Gamescom a few days ago. The trailer showcases Atomic Heart's spectacular, fast-paced gameplay set in a unique world that demonstrates the developer's extraordinary artistic and technical talent. Mundfish has made the most of Ray Tracing possibilitiesoffered by partner Nvidia's graphics cards.

erscheint damit dann wohl auch nicht mehr dieses jahr, aber noch "diesen winter". also theoretisch irgendwann bis 20. märz 2023. genaues datum soll aber demnächst folgen.

gestern hat ja das gerücht die runde gemacht, dass der titel am 21. februar erscheint. die quelle dafür war ein bisschen "naja", aber recht schnell kam heraus, dass wohl jemand ein presse embargo gebrochen hat. wenn das der fall ist, dürfte der 21.02. relativ sicher sein.

wenn das nun wirklich auch im februar erscheint...

mal schauen ob es noch von den größeren news outlets durchleuchtet wird, aber einer der hauptinvestoren hinter atomic heart entwickler mundfish ist gem capital, die dem russischen oligarchen und ex-gazprom top manager anatoliy paliy gehört. also ja, so gesehen wird das spiel mit geld der russischen regierung finanziert.
